Don't forget to create a discussion to keep this thread active too.

There are things to discuss such as Ray Lewis' deer spray scandal (SNL's skit "Ray of Light" made much more sense), whether Ed Reed or Randy Moss gets a first ring (Ray Lewis already has one so if the Ravens lose, at least he has one to console himself with, Reed doesn't have such luxury), and more importantly, the thread needs pictures of chicks!

Here is a reminder for you next time you come across a thread with a subject you don't like, don't post. We don't need another +1 post and if you're going to do so, at least post something relevant to the topic. You may not like it but many of us do and by tomorrow, it will have quite a showing.

This is probably the first Super Bowl in a few years I'm not extremely psyched for. Such that I honestly don't care one bit who wins for once.

Indeed.

I kinda want the 49ers to win but I pretty much picked the Ravens to take it. I mean the feather covered Browns are on fire and had a huge momentum going to I wouldn't be surprise if they wins.

I'm pretty torn on whether to cheer for the Ravens or the 49ers.

For the Ravens, I do like the Ray Lewis "final year" storyline and Flacco's sudden rise to "taken seriously" status.

For the Niners, I will always love their current kicker (and ex-Eagle) David Akers. The dude is a stand-up guy and I hope he finally gets the ring he never won here.

As evidence of Akers' awesomeness, check out the billboard he rented out in Philly when the Eagles didn't re-sign him and he left town:

Ravens are gonna take it. Joe Flacco is elite as fuck, where's your elite as fuck QB 49ers?

Pretty much this. The Niners can easily be back to another Super Bowl, largely due to their elite defense and Kapernick playing as well as he has. As for the Ravens, I see them taking a step back next year without Ray Lewis in the backfield, and honestly, I find them annoying when they have a habit of putting their foot in their mouths in the biggest games, {until now} when talking so much trash beforehand.

I might be the only person who thinks that this won't be that close of a game, I really do think that the Niners are a better team top to bottom, and the Ravens haven't faced a team who are just as physical, if not more so than they are in the playoffs. Plus, I keep thinking that sometime, Flacco has to come down to earth, as he usually does in the playoffs before. Of course, I say all this and it ends up as a very competitive game and the Ravens take it all the way, but I honestly doubt that.

Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

I'm really torn between the teams. I may just end up going with the Ravens because I like their colors and Joe Flacco is kind of cool.

Same here, except I picked the Ravens because of the momentum so you never know.

In the end it's pretty much who finally gets his ring: Ed Reed or Randy Moss.

i really don't get what's so great about the super bowl anyway?

every year people make this huge fuss about it and the commercials and the half time show and blah blah blah

and all it is is just a bunch of little dogs running around?
like i get that it's cute and every thing but like after the first few minutes, why is it so entertaining to everyone?

woah
