@newgroundsmike those are hash tags. they're not really a new idea but newgrounds staff have decided to adopt them with the feeds since they're pretty useful. they let you easily find what you're looking for if you search by hash. if you've got a twitter account you might be familiar with hash tags already #hash #meta

@username is used in the feeds. Hashtags isn't.
