awkward moments

One thing that always manages to phase me. Is the silence immediately after a confrontation any kind anywhere. I hate it when i find myself in a room again after a confrontation and the other person acts like it never happened. I always feel like they are waiting for me to say something that would set them off, but at the same same time i expect the same from them. It's like being in a room full of dynamite waiting for someone to drop a match.

I like to take a stance of strict retaliation i don't like instigators, and i refuse to be one.

The foot in mouth moments. I say something and immediately realize it's inappropriateness. Oops wrong occasion, wrong crowd, forgot who you were talking to etc.

Awkward silences after conversations aren't really awkward for me anymore. I used to really fear them but a lot of people you encounter those moments with may not find it awkward at all. That's been my experience lately, but I can still get uneasy about it sometimes.

The moment when you kiss someone for the first time and they're a really bad kisser and you weren't expecting it. they either don't move at all, try to swallow your face, try to grab your uvula with their tongue, push really hard, don't open their mouth at all, or stare at you and then you awkwardly pull away because everything they just did creeped you the fuck out and they don't realize it so they get confused like "is something wrong?" and you laugh it off and say "haha no i just ummm i uh choked on my gum and then it ummmm...it made me uh.....bye." and you go walk out of their room and go downstairs and go outside, get in your car, loudly say "WHAT THE FUCK?" to yourself and then go home and drink to get that disgusting thought out of your head.
