I can't say I've ever been a fan of wheat crust. It tastes weird to me.

I took a cooking class in high school. And they let us keep the recipes.

It adds a nice sweetness to the pizza, i'm sure that's what they were going for.. balance. Same thing for lettuce and tomato on a burger. It's nice to have something refreshing
