I recommend that you go solo and do both the art and the writing. Working with a partner does split the workload but it also takes time to get together and communicate and with only three days time is precious!

Also, here are some webcomics I have read or am reading. Couldn't hurt to check out some comic work to get inspired right? Maybe if you guys have some comics you like you can post a link or two.

Mystery Babylon - a manga-esque comic about a grumpy demon chick searching for some sort of seal for some reason. I like this one because the characters are very animated. Action scenes are clear and often hilarious.

Cucumber Quest - a cute adventure story about a bunny destined to be a hero. Beautiful chalky textured artwork - and the colours - wow! Beautiful comic and a cute quirky world.

Curio - a hipstery styled comic about ghosts and witches and stuff. Unfortunately the artist stopped working on this one I think, but I think it's wonderful.

Mouseguard - The first issue is free, but after that they are only a couple of bucks. Well worth it for that beautiful ink work. So awesome. And the story and the characters are pretty great also. But man, I love those inks.

And of course Aigis, who has been good enough to organize comic jam has an ongoing comic as well that you should all check out. Gotta love those bold lines. Great characters, lots of humor, some spooky mysterious other worldly happenings, and possibly some sarcasm, make it a great read.

Ratfist - by Earthworm Jim creator Doug Tennapel is definitely a good read.
