4.15 / 5.00 16,970 ViewsI used to keep all of my CDs, vinyl, tapes etc. After getting made homeless it was square one again. I tend to give away my CDs to charity shops once I've ripped them, as the wife doesn't like me taking up space.
Yeah I do. But I usually download the cd first so I know if it's good or not, if it turns out to be good, I go out and buy it.

Yeah I do the from time to time.
Though if I know the band enough I'd just go out and buy the album instead.
Or try to find a thing streaming the album to hear it before I go out and buy it.

I still buy CDs. I really like having a physical copy of it, even though I usually rip it to my computer and never use it again. The only time I buy digital albums is when there isn't a CD version of it or the CD version is expensive as fuck.

Online is generally a last resort for me. If I can't even find the damn CD on eBay or it goes for a really stupid price, I'll settle with downloads. However, most of the time that I download doesn't feel like I need to listen to them. At least having owning it physically gets you more committed to sit down and listen to the albums.

I love buying CDs. Something about a physical copy of something just feels more... real, ya know?
That said, lol who buys CDs when they're poor as fuck? Not me.

Better to buy CDs than buy it online since it's cheaper and the quality is better. Who would buy mp3 files when you can have lossless wave files?

Pretty much this is all I have for now, I'm planning on buying just two albums this year so not much more will be added. xD
I'm a bit of a collector myself, anything that caught my ear (or even used to) I keep. I'm not one to throw anything that would be of actual value, who knows some of these might be worth quite a buck someday (and yes, I know the one's that are worth a good amount too. :P)
Y u mad tho?

New Korn and Sevendust are worse, I agree. The old stuff still holds sentimental value to me, although that's worth shit to no one else. :P
However this is about as small as my collection has been, some of my friends take my CD's without asking. kind of annoying, but they eventually get returned.

Indeed, I buy CDs because it find it much more convienent than having to worry about tracks you downloaded getting deleted. Besides, it's easier to keep them physically than digitally as files.

The max I'll pay for a CD is around 30 dollars. There's obviously a sanity limit. I don't really feel like I have the album in mp3s, but I only buy good music, so I still listen to it without being affected. Probably because I put everything into my iPod.

Most of those were either gifts, given, or really cheap when I bought them. I never said I bought them all at retail price, most were either at flea markets, clearance racks, or tours.
Those albums weren't their worst, mind you. They at least had listenable tracks, but you're really not worth debating music taste, and opinions over anyways.

Aspects of some Korn songs are good, and some songs would have been good when I was 12, but overall they're extremely overrated and untalented. The few good parts just make me wish the same song had been made by a better band.
