Well this is awesome! Thanks to Mike for this!
Very impressive. Didn't expect this to be done for some time.

So that's what he's been doing...
Glad to see this has finally come out! Good work!
This is such great news, especially for mac users too! Great job Mike, will be sure to remember to donate when I get some spare cash :)
I fucking love you guys. I want you inside me in so many ways. This is 100% sincere. <3
This is sensational - Mike has saved animators round the world from daily headaches and hair-pulling - and Stamper made it look so damn gorgeous - well done guys, and many thanks!
I...was working on my new website/business...... ( Well Shit ) .
Thank you Mike! The quality of the mp4 looks amazing! I also like the ability to chain swf movies, which will do wonders for the Sonic Shorts Volume series. I'll become a NG supporter as soon as I can to help with the site. :)
Keep up the great work!
See, THIS is why Newgrounds will always remain - it loves its users so much and is literally the easiest to use set of services on the internet.
So far, on Newgrounds, you have access to:
500 MB of free storage
A File Server for Hosting Flash Saves for Games
Highscore Tables
Stat Tracking
Easy Monetization
A Ridiculously Useful Project Manager
A Whole Goddamn Suit of Tools for Making Your Stuff go Viral
and now, the unthinkable, the pinnacle of "this will never come out" an Swf to MP4 compiler that's even better then the .mov compiler Adobe used to make - much better.
I don't even know how you got AS things like VCam to work, this is just so incredibly awesome in every sense of the word.
I once had this issue when I was exporting to .MP4 for a film festival, the end result was me screen capturing the thing in the crappiest way possible because there simply weren't any options. Now that is dead and gone.
Good job Mike, and thanks Tom for keeping this site long enough to let this happen.
Karma pays off eventually, we'll all get our second wind as a community soon enough.
AMAZING! it's great to finally see the public release!!
And the interface looks so beautiful and theres a mac version now and it's so awesome and WOOOOWW! :D
You guys have really out done yourselves this time ;P

Wow! That's wonderful!
(I haven't tested it fully -- but why not consider adding a notice asking the user to join newgrounds and/or the supporter upgrade for using this software if it helped?)

Looks like the integration of Swivel will open the doors to NG having a great system of showcasing media on smartphones.
Awesome move.
youtube watch your ass ng is about to fuck it
tom, thank you for allowing me do this for the 1 year anniversary of contrast.
here's the link to the HD video:
I actually read the Terms and Agreements hoping that there's a dick joke hidden somewhere i guess there is non
But no this is great. Companies like SoThink, charge for kit like this. Its good to know time and effort has been put in to something, solely to help the artists.
I've seen Jess the Dragoon using it on Super Hero Clock Teaser trailer. Really good. Really no lag!

BRO. I have been dying for a program like this for years. Not even After Effects can pull this off as well as Swivel can. I'm doing a write-up on it tomorrow, will patch you in.
Any hope on getting a version that does alpha channel? Then it would be PERFECT.

In an idealistic world yeah but, inevitably users will continue to upload their creations to a variety of content sharing sites to increase their exposure
and ultimately exposure is a good thing for a starving artist
Just exported a video in 1440p. GOD THAT'S SO MANY P.

I think that if it doesn't automatically do that, then you can choose "manual recording" or something. I don't know, so far alpha channel has worked for me.

Works beautifully, but it takes alot of time and uses alot of cpu to convert them and I can't seem to get a proper audio output either on the video files either, but the video output looks amazing! Definitely in pair with swf quality. Hopefully Mike will get some of these issues sorted out and also add some more video output formats (f4v, mkv, 3gp)
Until then, I'm sticking with my original swf converter.
Great job, Mike

Oh my fuck you're right. Now I need to get experimenting!

Hey bro, welcome to video encoding. This thing does an amazing job converting at the pace it does.
NG cares about its users and it will pay off in the long run.

Couldn't agree more. This is most likely the best free swf converter on the web.
