Right now you've got the baby-boomers taking seat in places of political power, these are people whose crux of their life began as Video Games began to take form.

The only thing that video games have gotten media wise is publicity for violence and shit - so the uneducated bunches around the Political Spectrum tend to overreact.

Fortunately, as we have more liberal-minded people in their 20s-30s now, begin to enter the political stage. We'll soon begin to see more forward thinking and open minded people hold sway over things like that.

I think the video game debate is ridiculous. People ask what's making kids violent, and when they turn to video games, they never ask what makes video games violent. Media is a reflection of culture. Violent books, movies, and games only exist because there's a demand for it in the first place.

What encourages violence more, a game where you run around and shoot people, or an advertising campaign that tells you to run around and shoot people in other countries, and then calls you a hero for it?
