I'm an FL Studio user migrating over to Sonar X2.
One of the handy features with FL Studio was that you could use your desktop keyboard as an controller for playing synths and whatnot. When trying to use Sonar X2, I understand you can lay a few notes out on the piano roll but I'd rather have a "live" control when synthesizing sounds/putting together chords and melodies.
Apart from getting an actual musical keyboard (of which I'm looking into), has anyone had experience with setting their desktop keyboard as an actual "keyboard" in Sonar X2, or any other DAW for that matter?
