General multipurpose organization. You can leave reviews, favorite stuff, make it easier for other users to contact you, post on the forums, submit your own content, use the dump to share files, post news/blogs, increase your voting power, create playlists, rack up medal points, etc.

Honestly, I really don't care people are entitled to whatever opinions they have. As long as they can back them up.
