Because evolution isn't a one day progress. A Human didn't just pop out of a Monkey. Not only are modern Apes NOT our common ancestor, but they have also followed their own separate evolutionary paths since our divergence from our common ancestors.

Well the Theory of Evolution suggests that a mutation would have happened millions of years ago, evolving whatever creature preceded the chicken to gradually becoming the chicken, which would have started first as an Egg as nothing can evolve into another species in its life time. Just very close to it. That is, of course, if you subscribe to the theory of evolution. If you're a creationist, then I believe they came into existence with all other life when God created them. So which ever one you believe in.

I believe he is mocking the common stereotype of an atheist acting like an atheist out of angst. Usually a teenager who simply throws away their religion to stand out or get back at society for whatever reason. I know a couple of people that do that myself. How that relates to the thread topic is a bit of a stretch but I think he is calling out the OP who mocks creationism by calling God a "magical deity" who made the chicken appear for our usage of its eggs. Which is clearly an over simplification and intended to make fun of Creationists.
