3.93 / 5.00 4,634 ViewsHey, guise. I'll be attending another singing class in a couple days, and I've learned from my first one that I can't sing high at all; almost all of the music I listen to has singers that are constantly up there.
I need some stuff to practice on my own register for now, so I'm asking if any of you could provide some examples of singers with deep voices. Not like Michael Clarke Duncan, but more tenor. And no death metal or Rammstein. I know you fuckers.
This is my signature. It is a nice signature.

My all time favorite tenor singer.

Barry White, nobody?
I would post some Levi Stubbs but he can actually sing though, even if his voice is deep. Voice of God that man had. No one could imitate his singing voice.
Soul is full of deep singers if you look.
Also Liam Gallagher has never really been able to sing and look how well he's done for himself. But it does help to have a talented brother on your side there I guess.

A little better. In my case, though, It'd be tough going that high and sounding good and stable.

Yeah....I have an easy time singing stuff like that because its in a comfortable spot in my vocal range.
What about this? Or was Green Machine better?
You want deep? Oh, I'll give you deep.

Almost destroying your vocal chords can help with learning how to sing.
Wait couldn't you just take any song down a few octaves to suit your voice? I guess it'd sound weird, but you don't have to sing the note in its exact natural state.
Also I'm so sorry for not mentioning Tom Waits before. I know it's really raw but that's from smoking and raw emotion, and not from being in a metal outfit.
