But the OP didn't ask what your 'favourite Video Game' was. He asked what your 'favourite game' was. So why does this belong in the VG forum?
And with that said, my favourite game is Scrabble but good old Jenga sure runs a very close second.
Video game wise I'd say I've always had an affinity for Spyro games.
except for Skylanders o_o that made me want to harm whoever decided to change him.
Just regular games it's a tie between: Uno, Worst Case Scenario, and um....fuck I can't remember the name of the game. It's that one game where you have a little dome in the middle and you press down on it, and then it pops back up and rolls the dice to tell you how far one of your I wanna say 5 different pieces moves around the game board til it reaches a spot around the middle dome and whoever gets all their pieces in a row in their spots at the end of the game won.
I feel like I'm making that sound more difficult than it actually is....
Uno. I was the master of that game back in the day.

Actually it is a reasonably difficult game with somewhat of a Backgammon feel to it. (Dice roll, critical spot selection, opposition piece removal and return) Of course you're talking about Ludo which is a great game and can either take minutes if you play it well or hours if you play it badly.

Ah thats what it was.
Thanks.
Uno.
And as for video games, I'd say Assaultcube. Probably the only game I play nowadays.

My favorite game is "let's watch this awful movie and drink every time we regret watching it."
Also known as "Drink."
Or, alternatively, chess.

Any drinking game is a winner in my book.
Excluding video games (Not even sure I have A favorite video game anyway), my favorite game is chess, my dad started teaching me how to play when I was like 6 and at the age of 8 I started playing in tournaments, so I was pretty into it when I was younger. Now I don't play as much, occasionally I'll play a couple games with a friend, but that's about it. I still enjoy it though, and given the choice I'd pick chess over any other board game or card game.
Video game wise, WWE13, awesome game, so glad I got it.
For normal games, it is a cross between Chess, Uno, Monopoly, Boggle and Poker.

Wait, YOUR game?
Mother 3 or Earthbound...I love them both equally, but for different reasons
Mother 3 for cinematic and story reasons. So amazing
Earthbound because of the art style, and..."vibe" of it. The colors, and music, etc just come together to create this atmosphere...it's really immersive.
But I think the best crafted game, from an artistic viewpoint, is Yoshi's Island

Let me know when you want to play it again baby.
Also my favourite board game is Chess. A pity I never get a chance to play with anyone with my chess set as so few seem to be interested now.
