You can smoke cigs at any age, it's only illegal for someone to sell you them if you're under 18.

Well that's kinda weird, because what I've been told is that it's technically not illegal to smoke them if you're underage. These laws are very strange.

I don't know what the law actually says about it but yeah they usually take it from you and send you on your way, so you're not actually getting into legal trouble over it or nothing but they don't let you keep them.
