Newgrounds Bbs App

Later this semester in one of my computer science courses we have to develop an app for the Android market. I've had an idea for a while about developing one for the BBS here because it is kind of a pain to use. For example, making a reply with multiple quotes can be a bit annoying. I'm not sure what type of restrictions it would have seeing as I don't have access to the site servers necessarily, but even there was a better interface for the mobile BBS it could make things a little less tedious.

So what do you think? If an app for the BBS were to be developed would you use it? Are there any features you would like to see in the app?

Well I'd definitely use it, because my browser is slow and replying is a pain on my android tablet. Speaking of which, is there going to be a separate version for a tablet and phone or the same?

You shouldn't have worried about restriction and stuff. They are no needed. If problem exists, Xaotik's Greasemonkey script wouldn't work already.

I don't think the current NG design's that bad. Sure, the old one was better, but this one's okay.

It's really not dude. It's not humble. It's too busy. It doesn't stick to a theme. It's full of 90's design cliches and it's just over all ugly.

I hugely agree with the 90's design cliches and the lack of theme, but it's navigable.

I don't think greasemonkey is compatible with safari on my iphone.

Besides, I don't mind erasing shit on my PC, but it's sort of a chore on mobile.

I'm not sure but I doubt it. More than likely it won't be all that different, maybe just some incode dynamic dimensions.

Yeah, I usually browse the BBS on my phone.
I dunno about anyone else, but text is WAY too small.
But randomly, some posts have readable sized text.

But overall, text is too small.

Of course I would port to all major platforms.

On my phone, you highlight it all, and then press and hold the text. That copies it, and then you press and hold the typing box thing, and it lets you paste.

Also I'd like a bbs app cause I can't get on ng on my phone cause of some shitty webguard thing. I don't feel like going to a store to get it disabled, and ng is the only reason I care about getting it disabled anyway.

Then get it disabled, because it's likely that if you can't access Newgrounds on your phone then said app won't be able to, either.

With a not really good and fast mobile phone that would be a pain in the arse.
BBS app would be actually great. On weekdays I usually browse through my phone, so an app or a mobile site for the BBS would be great.
