So I just got a shirt in the mail today that I ordered online some time ago. While opening the package, I foolishly used scissors and ended up cutting off a piece of the shirt in the package. It's got a noticeably large hole near my left shoulder area, and apparently my mom lost her sewing kit. Is there any tailors or something I can go to to fix this? I don't know any places for this in my area...

No but ya might find something if ya search the type of weave/materials (tag) to the best of your knowledge. Maybe find a zoom pic of the same type of fabric..maybe a tut' or something.

Bless them.

I wasn't asking for that, I was asking how to find a tailor in my area or anything that fixes this kind of stuff for that matter. But I already got my answer.

Sewing is not difficult.
Get a needle and thread and do it yourself.

I wish I could do that, but I got the last one of my size.

I don't know, but I wasn't going out at 11PM to get a sewing kit, especially the fact that I'm leaving for college tomorrow. Just terrible timing overall.

Of course. Finding a tailor at that hour would be much more practical.

As mentioned, I got the last one of my size so buying another one isn't an option. I was lucky as hell that I found it in the first place, and I hate that I was dumb enough to ruin it.

I just wanted to know if there is somewhere I can drop it off before I go away, so that I can get it shipped back to me. I don't know how to sew and I'd do a complete shit job compared to a tailor.

You're telling me you don't know how to stab cloth with a pin?

You know there's more to it than that. Besides, even if I could do a half-assed job compared to someone who could do it better, why would I do that? That's just silly.

Why not buy a used sewing machine? It'll probably come in handy on more occasions than just fixing that shirt.
