Mine is either toy story 2 for ps1 or the lord of the rings series on xbox/ps2/gamecube. What about you though?

Toy Story 2 was a very good game. I actually really liked Toy Story for the Megadrive too. A Bug's Life was another one that I found incredibly enjoyable as a child and I might purchase it again now that you've brought it into my mind again.

Spiderman games are probably my favorite, too many people bitch about it relentlessly though. Considering it's a movie game I always wonder what expectations do they hold that would make it more significant than a non movie game? Then again we're talking about the same people that enjoy Skyrim... So I'm out of ideas there.

I agree.

Although to be honest, I haven't played all that many film based video games. Of all the ones I have played though they were mostly so-so, whereas Goldeneye is excellent (especially at the time).

I had Toy Story for the Mega Drive as a kid. Even when I look back at it it's still an enjoyable game despite the excessive difficulty than it should have had.

I agree, my particular favorite is The Amazing Spiderman. However, Spiderman 2 would be a close 2nd. I think Amazing Spiderman wins it for me because the general travelling around the open world was at it's best compared to all the Spiderman games, in my opinion.

I had that game, too. I agree about the insanely hard difficulty, but I think it was balanced out by its rocking music.

Also, Aladdin on the Sega Genesis is worth mentioning. That game had really great music, fun visuals, and solid gameplay.

Warriors.... come out to play-yay!

Second time I've used that quote on the VG forum. I'm on a roll, baby!

But anyway, The Warriors for PS2 is my absolute favorite movie-based video game. The combat, the plot, the co-op, everything about it was spectacular.

X-2 Wolverine's Revenge.

I cannot stress enough how ingenious this game was, it was like Splinter Cell but with Wolverine as voiced by Luke Skywalker.

The Warriors, Scarface: The World Is Yours and The Godfather were all pretty fantastic PS2 era movie based games. In fact, they'd probably rate highly on my favourite PS2 games ever.

That was actually a very good game, brought a lot of elements in that the movie left out from the books. Plenty of secrets to find too which was a nice plus. I've got such an urge to play this now.

I have to agree with that. Out of those 3 games, I would go with The Godfather as my favorite of the bunch.

Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.
