4.02 / 5.00 43,367 ViewsUs Newgrounders have some rather refined taste, and I doubt any of you would be caught dead listening to autotuned bubblegum pop like Justin Bieber or LMFAO. Judging from what I see, most of us here appreciate the more 'real' side of music (whatever that means to you).
However...
Is there any modern mainstream music you make exceptions for? I'm typically not very interested in what's the kiddies listen to these days, but I do make an exception for Cee Lo Green, one of the few popular artists right now that I really think has talent.
What about you, Newgrounds?

Indeed. "Crazy" is one of my favorite songs. I love that duo.
I'm not a big maroon 5 fan, but I like "moves like jagger" quite a bit.
When with friends gangnam style is enjoyable.
I'll love you forever
Cool people have lots of text here, but I couldn't come up with anything clever.
ScaryPicnic made me do it.

About You has 6,000,000+ views. I'd consider them pretty popular.

Ha, did not know about that. I guess they're mildly popular I guess. Still I hear no radio plays, and that's the only song with that many views. Plus given they're a new band, it's pretty soon for them to get the popular status.

Yes it is.
Gota say I have a spot for this one
And maybe, Gorillaz, Oasis and a couple of big bands from my childhood.
i dont choose to listen but it might be alright i like listening to pop songs from the 90s, like one part of the song over and over on A-B Loop while rocking back and forth
Lady gaga, lmfao, and psy.
sorry
I find myself enjoying Gotye, Fun., and other hipsterish pop bands like that I guess.

Gnarls Barkley was good.
I don't judge music by its fanbase. I honestly listen to something and I either like it or hate it. Music is that simple for me. I don't know whats mainstream or indie. None of it is exactly underground. It all just blends together and I havent listened to the radio in a decade. I like The Black Keys, Cage the Elephant, QOTSA, RZA. Those are all pretty pop.

Soul II Soul is one of my guilty pleasures, but other than not nothing really noticable. Got a thing for Rick Astley, dude's voice is just divine.
Y u mad tho?
Lady Gaga, Britney Spears (some of her music anyway), Aqua (not so popular anymore... but they were)
I'm sure there are others, but I can't remember most of them.
Mixcloud . SoundCloud .
Also Black Eye Peas, I used to get into the stuff they made.
