At the start, the melody that rises and falls, that similar "woub" bubble sound. I think that's some flanger but HOW!!1 And on what instrument/synth?

After the chants finish, at 0:42. What the hell is this sound, I have seriously no idea.
(Yeah that song rocks I know)

On a side note, how does one can recognize what type of wave, what kind of oscillators, what type of filters are in one sound? Just by experience/ear?

The first one is just a saw with a chorus on it or something to widen it playing octaved notes.

The second one is just awful, sorry.

Unless you meant the arp playing, in which case it sounds like a detuned square.

In the Crying Soul remix I meant the melody that plays for good 40 seconds.
