So instead of deciding my own fate like an mature reasonable adult I thought I'd make a thread about it.
Why should I/shouldn't I become a vegetarian?

To be honest, I can't think of any good reasons not to unless you're going to be one of those guys who leaves out meat, doesn't bother to find another source of proteins or for whatever else you miss out on and then gets sick.
Seriously, if you're going to make the switch, do take some time to find out how to balance out your diet properly. You don't have to miss out on anything.

The only meat I ever consume are my dinners prepared by my Father. He hates cooking and meat is his go to ingredient. I don't know what he'd do with out it. I already don't eat so many things.
So I'd either have to just ride it out until I get my own place, help him with my meals or cook my own meals which I may start doing anyway. I left school so I do nothing all day whiles he's out all day doing his workin' man thing. I think I'd help us both out if I cooked. It's just a game of motivation which is the reason I'm out of school.
Go reply to what I said in the other thread.
Also because stake is the best food of all time.

no. bring it to me
Oh my god, who the hell cares.
If you want your diet to consist of non-animal products, then by all means go for it. Why is it that people insist on trying to find a reason to do things. Actually, the idea that you made a thread about thinking of becoming a vegetarian means that you don't really want to deep down. So if you ask me this, I will say again, who the hell cares.
If you want to become a vegetarian, then do it, if you don't then don't. I do not see why you have to consult Newgrounds users to make a lifestyle choice.

Moral. If I was killing to survive or even just doing the killing myself under my terms I could justify it.

lol, I'm pretty set on becoming a vegetarian but I wanted to get a mix of opinion. I made this thread because I was bored, it was easy and it seemed like a worth while topic and your wanting to get your views across proves my point. You don't speak for Newgrounds so stop telling me what Newgrounds thinks. You clearly do care but you're frustrated that other might too. Stop taking the BBS so seriously.

I think that because I have the luxury to not eat meat and survive a may not. If the animals don't have to die they shouldn't.
Please don't get my wrong. I'm not trying to sound like super moral or anything. I ate meal today. I'm considering becoming a vegetarian hence why I made the thread.
Jesus christ, what a terrible pick for an alt name. You should have been TheColorTerrible or something.
Disappoint.

3 Reasons for:
When you get the balance right, it's a very healthy diet indeed. Far healthier in comparison to a meat intensive diet.
There are so many possible ways of cooking and preparing vegetarian meals you can have a lot of fun tweaking recipes to find out what you like.
It's far cheaper than eating meat.
3 Reasons against:
Your farts will smell really bad.
There's no real substitute for meat. You'll meet so many vegetarians claiming that quorn/meat free products are just as good as meat, but they're just being ignorant and only deluding themselves. If you find you're eating 'quorn bacon' or anything labelled as imitation meat then you're a plastic vegetarian who may as well just eat the real thing rather than processed fungus which is about as healthy as eating at Burger King.
If you don't properly plan your meals, you'll wind up being undernourished and ultimately unhealthy.

I think I will try to eat more veggies and gradually work my way up to full on vegetarian.
Also fried stuff can make your tastes go bad quickly, so consider the fresher ways to prepare meats.
I will, thank you.

what if your served something with meat in it would you just not eat the meat or throw it out so the meat will lay and rot and then meaning the animal was killed for you to throw it out?

I would eat it obviously. Why else would I kill an animal?
It is going to be tough if you are getting served meat at home.

Become a pescetarian! That way you're kinda doing ok for the animals and still keep fish in your diet which is good for your overall nutrients.
I have to say this:
why discriminate on all those poor plants. LOL.
Really I understand if you cut down on eating meat, It's even better for your body (and the enviroment) I thnk if you don't eat it every day . But none at all?
Is bad for you...nuff said.

You'd need an entourage on vegetarians to keep you from looking like a massive pony faggot.
If you can, do it... I tried it myself and failed hard.
