I knoowwwwww....I remember playing the Playstation 1 Ace Combats at a friend's house...but never owned one until Ace Combat 4. Megalith! Mobius One!

Then I kept up with Ace Combat 5 with Razgriz, and Ace Combat Zero was fun as well....

I only had to look at gameplay for this latest one to realize that shit is going down the wrong path. I eagerly await a flight sim game that was as fun and dynamic as the gameplay in Ace Combat 4, 5, and Zero. With superweapons that demanded specific altitude adjustments, or specific aerial manuevers, and crazy awesome, but impossible, fictitious wartime environments. Urgghhhh....Raptors and Super Flankers all day.

Amen! By itself, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon is a decent game at the most, but it's not an Ace Combat game. It's just not unique without the world of Strangereal as a setting.
You know, it's kinda funny. I have never played 5 or Zero, yet I absolutely love them. I know the story, the pilots, the superweapons, but never had the chance to play either of them. That's mostly the reason why I hope they release an HD collection of 4, 5, and Zero already: so I can play them!

AC Assault Horizon is like if Micheal Bay directed an Ace Combat game.

Zero is a great game in the series, the final mission is kinda annoying on some parts though...

I have AC5, but haven't played it yet. I pretty much have every ace combat game for consoles with the exception of
3, 6, and Assault Horizon.

AC2 I can beat any day, plus thats the one I'm the most nostolgic about.

well i signed up for this site when i was 13 and i i got the grounder part of my username from the word newgrounds and mega for adjective reasons. i eventually had someone make me this sig and i thought "where did the omega come from"? then i remembered grounder from that one sonic cartoon and i said sure why not.
