Well that's not true at all.

You got the bloops and the bleeps and you put them together, but the bloops don't sound like the bleeps so it's not the same, and then you got the bum tsh czz tsh bum tsh czz tshand you put that in there, crank it up to 128BPM or 140BPM depending on whether you put a wub wub in there.

It's never the same.

How would it be a genre? That wouldnt make any sense whatsoever that a bunch of almost completely unrelated genres would be grouped together under one genre. Its just a description of a group of genres. Its common sense and I just checked wikipedia and it says pretty much the same thing.

Isnt it? Stop trying to make things seem like have no relation whatsoever.
They have a common thing, so they must be grouped together.

I like electronic music. For those who say that they don't really listen to the music and probably just hate the electronic music genre because "it's different and not natural music, anyone can make electronic music." But in reality, electronic music is very cool and people who don't like it probably never gave it a chance. But that doesn't really matter, if they don't like it then that's their opinion.

If you even knew a small amount about music or bothered to pick up an instrument you would realize that electronic music is only similar in the way that its a frequency...I listen to everything and literally every fucking type of music that stimulates my brain which music is supposed to do BUT electronic music is heavily borrowed from everything and it doesn't have much creativity or "soul" in it. For someone that claims to stand for your music, I'm surprised you haven't found or realized that electronic music does follow a strict set of frequencies and beats.

Shame the fuck on you mod, do your research, and not ones that support your illogical opinion, which is what this is...opinion

Apparently you haven't been exposed to Deep House or IDM. One being all about soul, the other about being creative to the point of making your head feel like exploding.

Sir, a fetus singing inside of a womb is no proof against what was stated. I'm glad you made enough effort in choosing the theme from house md though.

People say that about every genre, no matter how vast or varied. There's no changing it. What's worse is people who insist that any music genre is not music. No matter how much I hate a song or artist, I'm not so cripplingly brain damaged that I would say such a stupid thing about any sort of music.

That feel when people are too fucking stupid to realize that an electric music board is no less an instrument than a guitar.

Rock is nothing but sounds, orchestra is nothing but sounds, electronic is nothing but sounds, but all three are styles of music. So to those people who are saying electronic is just sounds, please stop being a massive fucking retard and realize that all music is just noise.

A lot of DnB and liquid funk actually DOES sound the same.

Most of it generates from small edits of the Amen Break.

That fuckin' break has been everywhere too, still is everywhere as well. Hilarious how one sample can go so far, definitely shows the supposed "originality" of older producers really is no different than of those today.

That's used for a lot of other things, but yeah, DnB uses it an awful lot.

You very very obviously have absolutely zero fucking idea whatsoever how imensely difficult and tedious it is to make music.

This is what you were talking about, and it's a toy. Real electronic musicians use music development programs that can cost hundreds of dollars. Using the argument "anyone can make electronic music" is just about as plum fucking retarded as it gets. 1. If it's so fucking easy, I'd like to see you even begin to make electronic music that sounds even a fraction as good as professionals and 2. Yeah, anyone can make it, just like anyone can make any other kind of music. It takes skill and thousands of hours of practice to make music that's even worth listening to, just like any other genre.

God fucking dammit at the immense level of retardedism in here.

considering how they don't use music notation aka what you use to transcribe music theory i think it's pretty valid

They have a common thing, so they must be grouped together.

Most of them arent related though, or even sound alike. No one regards 'electronic' as a genre.
