I lost track at this point. I had seven in 48 hours and was sent to the hospital twice this weekend. During the second hospital stay was when I took that picture.

Yeah I had one, but the hospital I was at thought I should get another one. I didn't ask what the purpose of it was for, I just went along with it. I was originally put on Kepra, and then put on Kepra and Lamotrigine when that wasn't working, and then went back to Kepra with my nighttime dosage increased, and the doctor said it should work fine.

2 brain MRIs over such a short time are basically useless, unless this second MRI is with contrast, meaning that they inject you with gadolinium (dye) before putting you in the MRI machine. It's still not going to make a hell of a difference. If I were in your position I would have seriously questioned them.

Also, Keppra alone eventually stopped working for me. I'm still hoping I can taper off it. After 3 years of taking it I'm just...done. It's basically useless now. Lamictal seems to be doing all of the work, and if you're not prone to rash, SJS or anything else negative, it's a great med.

Lamictal is lamotrigine, BTW. You said you were on it, weren't you? If it didn't work then either you try something else or you insist on taking the brand name instead of the generic. I have heard of cases where brand name Lamictal worked but generic lamotrigine didn't. For me it doesn't matter.

Yeah, I just get all these names of generics and prescriptions mixed up X.x She upped my nighttime dosage of it higher than to what it was before so I thought it'd be okay to just experiment for a bit.

Do you get a warning sign when you feel like it's about to begin? Like, would you know when to pull over and dial 911?

It may vary from person to person, but for me I just black out and then wake up after a period of time; I don't think I've ever felt any kind of warning so yeah.
