WOW! Ignorant much. Read below and you might learn there is a major difference between a Transgender person and a Transsexual. PrincessLuna is Transgender not a Transsexual as you just mentioned.
When the world perceives your sex (the outside) as changing, but your gender (your self identity) stays constant. (Trans = change, sex = the physical sex of your body) For example, someone who looks male at birth, but changes the worldâEUTMs perception of their sex to match their female gender (i.e. the Heart Mind and Soul of a woman) is therefore Transsexual.
Transsexuals commonly use hormone treatments, and to a lesser extent surgery, to make their appearance better match the sex opposite to the one assigned at birth.
When the world sees your sex as a constant, but the way they see your gender (e.g. Masculine or feminine behaviour, dress etc) changes. (Trans = change, gender = Who you are). For example, someone who is assigned the male or female sex at birth and keeps that sex but changes the way they present their gender (who they are) is therefore Transgender
Transgender individuals do not use hormone treatments etc. because their body is already the way they want it to be. Instead they regularly break the âEUoegender rulesâEU in the way they act, dress etc.
