Yeah, I'll say. I just started season 4, and I agree on Tennant being better than Eccleston. Prolly just because he's had more character development whereas the Ninth only lasted one season. I watched an episode of season 1 again after finishing 3 and it wasn't nearly the same as I remembered. He's absolutely fantastic but I think Tennant's more fitting for the role. They're both very different, though, and the Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways plot is still one of my favorites along with the Invisible Child/The Doctor Dances.

But Army of Ghosts/Doomsday from S2 holy shit, that's prolly my favorite of the entire series thus far.

Excellent stuff, all! I would have liked to see another season with Eccleston, but c'est la vie. He had other stuff planned. There are definitely some episodic standouts in the world of Doctor Who. Expect more to come!
