Anyway, just because you 'know about someone' and because there is a widespread urban legend that one hit of meth gets you addicted for life does not make it true. This goes against everything humans have learned about addiction.
However, if you were really depressed and you hit some meth (or heroin) you might be like 'this shit is awesome and my life is awful, so I will take more tomorrow'. If you're a normal person, you're probably ok.
ps you know some people with ADHD and obesity take meth, which they buy legally and are prescribed by doctors
and you know that if you have an operation, you'll probably take heroin, but won't even think about it the next day (or experience withdrawal), despite urban legends about the one-hit addiction of heroin
long story short, nothing will get you addicted if you take it once. Be careful taking it a second time.
