Newgrounds is to me like that old cartoon that we used to watch all the time as a kid. It has left a strong sense of nostalgia on me since I grew up with it, so I feel compelled to rekindle those awesome moments we shared together.

I'm not really loyal anymore, after weapon icons became a little side item, the allure of depositing left, and so did my ambition to post in order to show off my high level icon.

Been here for so long, I know a lot of people now. They've helped me out a lot over the years.

I'm not very loyal to Newgrounds because Newgrounds isn't loyal to me.
It's not worth coming back every day, I guess I only come back for the nostalgia value since it was my first forum.

I've been coming to NG since 7th grade. This was way back in the day. Before schools were smart enough to filter what was allowed on the school computers. I have had my other account since about 03. I love this website, I know it sounds ridiculous but Newgrounds was a big factor in my childhood. I rarely post on the forums anymore but at one point (even if it was about 6 0r 7 years ago) i was a well known regular on the bbs. I loved the social aspect of the general forum. I love the flash toons and games, i love the community here on NG.

As long as there is a NG i plan on being here.

It inspired me to animate and draw. Really hone my craft in art. I also like to critique, and sometimes I feel like I can lend helpful constructive advice to some of these authors. Professors have said you can learn more by teaching, and in a way I kinda started trying to do that through my reviews a couple of years ago.

"Why didn't this scene work. Why wasn't it funny? How could it be better?" and in the process of elaborating, I kinda illustrate better in my own head on how to do that which I'm advising.

Sometimes its just a matter of a quick boost of inspiration like, "if this guy could do what he did in this amount of time with the same resources I have available, then what could I do?" and I keep coming back looking for reviews and observations that I hadn't noticed or opinions that are outside of my bias.

The forums, it's just fun to dick around and socialize in that way. Every once and a while, I'll just get to vent out and troll a little, have some fun with photoshop, and just goof off...kill some time......

...but admittedly I need to be spending less time on the forums and more times animating. Its been too long, and I don't want my only legacy being referred to as "The Dick Neck guy."

I've been coming here since I was like thirteen, so at this point, Newgrounds feels as though it's part of my childhood.

I don't think I have any particular loyalty. I just like the games and movies, plus I like the Metal Hell.

The flash and keeping in touch with some of my friends. That's it.

There are a few factors.

First, because of most of the music in the Audio Portal. It has revolutionized my music tastes and has brought me one of the best hobbies ever: creating music. It has introduced me to dozens of new genres, which I would otherwise never learn of due to mainstream Pop.

Second, the community. I've met people here that I'll never find irl - their unique personalities. Some of them are close friends of me now.

Third, the stats. I don't know why, but I'm fascinated by stats. It's nice to have cool stats on my own profile.

Newgrounds pretty much sets me free from the chaos of real-life.
