Loyalty to Newgrounds

Everyday many users post on the forums, deposit their points, submit their art, watch movies, play games, or purchase merchandise...etc.

My question is:

Why are you loyal to Newgrounds? What keeps you coming back?

Because I like the forum community here.

It's small enough to where you can get to know individual users but large enough for a constant stream of activity.

The community, surprisingly enough. Although I don't feel that there's as strong a sense of community any more, especially over in the video games forums which is where I probably spend most of my time. The regular users I remember are less frequent visitors now and their posts are becoming fewer and further between. It's a shame.

Every once in a blue moon I get talking to someone via these forums that I get on really well with for one reason or another. Had the pleasure to meet a few of them too. I guess that's partially why I stay here.

I guess the main reason that I stay on this site is because Newgrounds has essentially become the centre of the internet to me. Newgrounds practically is the internet as far as I'm concerned. Everything else is just an added on extra. It would be hard for me to leave this place because it's probably where I spend the most time while I'm online.

Something about these forums just feels right. The others are just...weird. Although the activity has been declining, it was always much more active than most other forums which made it a lot more fun to post. And being that there's rarely ever permabans (most bans here are temporary) you know there's not much risk when posting.

There's just a very addictive dynamic. The way all the points tie together to make you aim for the top!

Out of habit and this being my favorite online forum. Sometimes it can get a little boring when the forum isn't moving fast enough, but I doubt I will ever leave her. Too many good times have been had.

I dont like 9gag, Newgrounds, I pretty much been here since 2007 (Haven't made an account till 2012). I used to like the quality of the flash games here, they were cool, but I come here to increase my number of posts and I am also practicing on trying to be a good poster.

its familiar, i know the faces, and the base is great
there is a story here and i bought into it
plus i have already devoted such levels of personal time here 1 more hour or 1 more post seems like a atom in an ocean to the vastness of history i have here...

besides.. i have a little bit of seniority here.. and that in it self feels good.. i am not called a noob everywhere i go

Although this is a flash website, I feel as though it's very "illustration" based. (u kno wut i mean)
Everyone seems to have at least a slight interest in illustration or graphic design. It comes out on the BBS, I appreciated the talent and work that people put into the forum.

I like a lot of users and there's enough to do to keep entertained, yet not too much so that you lose track of things.

Newgrounds is a shitfilter. Whilst the big Y(ou know) has many videos, a large percentage is bullshit. Not saying I've not seen the yawn message subliminally flashing in some of the videos & games I've played on here, it's still interesting, because it's coming from someone's backyard like the baby bones I found beneath my shed.
