Over time you'd lose way more shit without a wallet than with a wallet. The chances of losing an entire wallet is tiny compared to the chances of damaging / losing loose cards / bills.

So over a lifetime, you'd probably lose way more stuff.

I guess it is all about risk and reward. FOr me the risk of losing all my stuff is much less then the reawrd of having it all handy and easily accessible.

I have cards and shit that I can't all keep in my pockets since they'll be crowded, plus I always pull my phone out my pocket so I'm afraid I'll lose money or something and not realize until it's too late. Having a wallet and leaving it in my backpack is just convenient. I'm sorry you lost yours though. :(
