I bet my sig will make you take my advice. I consider myself a master roller. Although most people do, I have actually never fucked up a joint. I learned to roll first from smoking tobacco. If you smoke cigarettes then you should start buying tobacco pouches. It's way cheaper and a very handy skill to learn. I could sit here and type out a long explanation on how to roll but honestly the only thing you can do is practice.
First watch a tutorial on YouTube, there are hundreds, to get the basics down so you know what you're doing. Then go buy some weed and start practicing at home. A few tips I have though are:
Always use a cardy. A cardy is when you rip a small strip of cardboard of your papers packet and roll it up and use it as a filter. NEVER use a cigarette filter it will soak up all the THC. And if you don't use a cardy, the end you suck on will get wet from saliva and close up making it harder to inhale, and you get little bits of weed in your mouth.
Don't put tobacco in it. It honestly makes it worse. It's also combining something toxic with something healthy. If you like tobacco, have a cigarette after the joint, it's a million times better.
This is something I do with all my joints now. After you roll it, use something thin enough like a filter to push the weed down from the side you would light. Then twist the end and gently make it evenly tighter until the end of the joint is flat with a twisted stick of paper in the middle. Light around the edges of the joint, then pull on the twisted bit sticking out to pull the end off. The end of your joint will now be perfectly flat and much easier to light.
