out of sickening morbid curiosity, i want to see the aftermath. his face must look like something out of a horror flick. or mayber hamburger meat.

I'm curious as to what ammo she was using. apparently she was not using hollow points because a shot to the neck with a hollow point, unless it barely grazes the skin, would be fatal from the tissue damage it would cause. some sort of target shooting round perhaps?

the news article SAYS he was shot 5 times in the face and neck, but after giving it more thought. that's impossible. he was still conscious, still able to see, and still able to speak. which means he didn't take a bullet to the brain, to the jaw or to the eye. He also had punctured lungs, stomach, and liver.

As of yesterday Paul Ali Slater is on a ventilator. Hopefully his injuries will kill him. If not, hopefully he'll never recover enough to be in a position to try and take revenge on the family. People stupid enough to try and break into a house in broad daylight is arrogant enough to blame the woman for shooting him and not blame himself for being a stupid piece of shit criminal.

These stories happen all the time. Earlier this year or late 2012 a Female police officer open fired on a guy who was trying to shoot up a theater because his girlfriend broke up with him. Now, that guy should see why his girlfriend broke up with him.

Also she's lucky he was alone. if there was a 2nd criminal there, she would have been in SERIOUS danger given she used all her shots on one person.

unprepared lose em all, is what I should have said. on another note, yes improvised weapons would mostly replace gun crime as well as knife crime becoming more common, but also imported guns from other countries. If large volumes of drugs can enter the country, so can guns and ammunition. It happens all the time here in Canada, our gangs get most of their guns from the United States.

Actually if she was in full panic mode she would aim for the chest, because that's the center and biggest part of the body. It's why bulletproof armor is centered around the chest and not the arms, because they're much more likely to shoot the chest than the rest of the body. It's what happens when you burst into a room and someone is waiting to shoot you.

I had a problem with the area I lived so I moved from a big city to a small one. Stop being a douche. Also there are high quality doors you can buy if you live in a high risk area so the onus is on the person to use proactive measures. Guns are not the answer.

If you can spare the time, effort, and most importantly, cash. And still, odds are that an intruder can still find a way in.

I don't own guns, never have owned guns, and have never lived in a household with any guns. I didn't say they were the answer, though I don't think it's such a bad idea to maybe have a pistol or something hidden away just in case you need to protect yourself. I don't see myself doing that, but I wouldn't think of it as such a bad move as long as the owner is trained well enough and exercises the right level of responsibility. I was merely pointing out why what you said was shit.

I understand about the US constitution and how it enables the people of the US the right to bare arms but also you must respect and understand that the constitution was ratified a very long time ago and thus in many ways has become outdated. Also the Constitution does not advocate murder in any context as well as the right to bare arms was intended to keep the Government on the path of righteousness. The constitution does not advocate killing each other.
