What are the top three video game commercials, or trailers, that you can remember? Ones that got you to play the game, but didn't necessarily spoil your enjoyment of the game?
1. The first Kingdom Hearts commercial. I was a boy and I thought it was "just another stupid Disney game/thing". The commercial didn't really tell me anything about the game's characters or who you'd be playing as. At some point, I had to pick up the game just to know what the hell was going on.
2. Saboteur. Feelin Good by Nina Simone; that is all.
3. The commercial for Kingdom Hearts 2. I was a little bit older, but when I first saw that commercial, I was so bloody excited to hear "The story isn't over." I didn't learn anything particular about the game through the trailer, and Passion by Utada Hikaru became my favorite song that year. (at least until it was used in each trailer, in some form)
Runner-ups would've been Dead Island (but I ended up disliking the game) and inFAMOUS's trailer.
