hmm, maybe refined moonrock or some rare space sample? they seem to go for alot?

While those are both good ideas, there are very, very few materials in the universe that would go for 1 trillion, and are the size of a coin, even a big coin.

The only few things I could think of would be something almost physically impossible to obtain, like the substance of a neutron star.

Such a coin would have to be the size of a train.

I dunno, I always kinda seen the universe as an infinite space filled with unknown and untapped resources.

On another note, maybe taking lost artifacts (spearhead of longenis, came to mind) and melting it into a coin that could be neat, with the item of the icon on the coin or maybe a simular concept of a lifegem to the formula. I was just thinking, if something like that were made then might as well make 'em unique and not something mass produced..

It would cost one hell of a lot less to plagiarize this coin than 1 trillion dollars. Unless they only made 1 and everybody knew where it was.

It would be awesome to whip out at a poker table or something like that, though. Especially if you were an evil super- villain. You'd become pretty evil anyway from constantly raising the bet so much that nobody else could play.

His point is still valid and as for the gold standard thing, the main concept for bills and coins was what he said so I think it is acceptable as a respond.
