Love the instrumentals on it, never been a massive fan of the vocals though. For that reason I think I prefer the Black & White sheep versions, but still Blue Sheep is great and the whole album is a masterpiece.

Jesse Sykes vocals add a very special feeling to the track. It is off course beautiful even without her vocals, and yes this is a masterpiece. I think Etna is one of my favorite Drone tracks.

This isn't a post-rock club or alternative emo club, it's an ambient club.

Got into his stuff a month ago or so. Pretty good stuff :)

If you have the chance to check out Ben Woods or A Death Cinematic, you might like them.

Nope! Just youtube'd Fog. Brilliance!

Done some yoga to Brian Eno's Ambient 4: On Land last night. To me, it invoked the mysticism of Ghana, the tribal chants, the monkeys could be heard and I could FEEL the swamps.

Mrs. ZAAL finds Brian Eno "scary".

False Awakening - So Far, So Close

Here is an older release, but I really enjoy putting it on from time to time. It probably falls more towards post-rock, but it's really quite, timid music and fits in nicely with my ambient playlists.

To me, Dubstep is a modernist Musique Concrete and I can hear a link betwixt Industrial and Dubstep. Genres and subgenres are not particularly objective, IMHO.

What do you expect out of an ambient club??

I've been digging Chris Weeks' (aka kingbastard) album A Deconstructed Sun. I finally got around to picking it up last week and I love it! Highly reccomend it for it's cool tape-y lofi sound.

I've also been enjoying Keith Fullterton Whitman's work too

Yeah, Chris' work is always nice to hear, I'm always looking forward to his stuff. He's a cool guy that makes cool music.

First time I've heard of this guy. The track you linked me to was pretty nifty, I'll be sure to check out some of his other stuff.

I'm assuming that dark ambient and dungeon synth would be acceptable here?

Depressive Silence is one of the best dungeon synth projects i have come across.

So I completely forgot about this album until now.

This should've been the soundtrack to The Grey, would've made the film much more enjoyable.
