While i continue to trial and error my way through the site i hope you take the time read this post and share your thoughts with me as experienced artists and animators on how i can improve my technique and build my audience. Thank you and i appreciate this opportunity.
Welcome to NewGrounds!
You seem to have a great grasp on your style and animation. a big thing i notice though is your pacing.
i remember way back when, they used to give flack to the animators on the Simpsons for using extended poses and long non-moving expressions to fill time gaps in their show.
i feel that your first episode could have been half the length and be just as good if not better. a lot of the scenes just drag on too long.
i like your style and character designs, but i would only say to clean up your lines a bit. some frames are very smooth and some quite shaky. and i noticed some unnecessary re-drawing on some parts, like a shirt redrawn when only the head or mouth moves. this causes unnecessary movement in the scene.
I really like what you're doing though, keep up the good work and i'll be keeping an eye out for more

Thank you very much for responding to my thread, i really appreciate it. I am working on cleaning up the lines, by working in another animation program, but as far as pacing is concerned i'm gonna need you to elaborate with me a bit more on that. If its too much i apologize i just want the best for my project.
the entire animation feels too slow. like same scene for too long. same poses held too long.
you can rectify by shortening scenes/poses or add more poses and camera angles
it's like in a movie when a close-up lasts way too long and you just want to see something else

Ok, i got it now, But to be honest I have gotten mixed reviews over the pace (now that i know what they are talking about). That doesn't mean i'm gonna leave it alone tho. I have thought about adding more frames, and i will.
