I had an idea a theory if you will Pokemon is the socially acceptable version of mlp, now bare with me most people make fun of bronies because they follow a show about ponies that is meant for little girls while adult Pokemon fans watch a show targeted to little children also they play the games that are also marketed to children isn't that kind of a double standered what does ng think of my theory?

Well. I don't think I ever saw that episode. I always made mine fight and sometimes broke the legs of my horses/ponies that were hard plastic because they fought too hard.

I don't think the target audience matters in this case, its just MLP never has had a gaming element like Pokemon has.

Although there both marketed products just trying to sell you more crap so there pretty similar when you think about it

I disaprove. Pokemon and MLP are equally viewed as 'unacceptable' by society at my school. Kids are made fun of, but not deeply disgraced, for liking either one of the two. In other words, 'bronies' and 'Poke fans' do not exist within my school. According to my classmates, they find Pokemon as a 'childish series for no-lives who are forever alone' whilst MLP is 'only for little girls and males who like it are pussies under male camouflages'.

Not even the nerds at my school like PKMN nor MLP.

I guess it varys from country to country or state to state because where im from not liking pokemon is more likely to get you bullied.
