I'll love you forever
Cool people have lots of text here, but I couldn't come up with anything clever.
ScaryPicnic made me do it.
I normally get tired of a song after listening to it about 20 times (not repeated).
I remember a number of songs that sounded very catchy to me at first. I listened to them like two dozen times and then I got completely sick of them and wondered why I ever liked them in the first place. For example, I think about everyone had this with Fireflies by Owl City.
On the other hand, there are some songs that I've listened to hundreds of times (according to iTunes) and I still love listening to them. In moderation though, I just can't keep on listening to the same songs forever.
Anyway, I guess it all depends entirely on the song.

Most music sounds the same to me. The first time I hear most pop or rap feels like the 50th time I've heard it if we're going to be honest here. Although when it comes to music I actually like, I can listen to something maybe six or so times consecutively before it gets too repetitive, and probably a couple dozen times over a few weeks before I really get sick of it.
If I offer to help you in a post, PM me to get it. I often forget to revisit threads.

for me its like 5 days, i listen to it non stop, then i get bored of it for a while, then i listen to it in moderation
I have been listening to the same piece of music for 2 years now
Im hoping it doesnt drive me insane before I get bored of it
I play most of my music as the entire album so not very often.
In a row, probably two or three. If it's a song I really like, I do my best to listen to it as inoften as possible so it doesn't wear out.

Yea, I've been listening to the same old music plus a little new stuff.
I think it just depends on some people. I know people who listen to songs just for their "favorite part" then skip. There are albums and songs where I can listen to all day without getting tired of it. I have been listening to a these same 3 albums from the same artists for the past 5 years and never grew tired of them. Another reason why people have favorite artists.

Gangnam Style. Not that I choose to listen to it on a daily basis, it's just that my dumbass step brother keeps playing it over and over. No matter how much times I tell him to stop, he just constantly plays it. And before you say it. Yes I have offered him headphones.
by the second chorus, if not sooner

I never really listened to that song since it's not my type of music, but it really irks me when I hear it on tv and such. I don't understand what's so good about it OR the dance..anyway going off topic.

I like predictability, thus it takes a few listens before I can actually enjoy a song. After that phase, I can listen to the same song for more than 6 hours without pause (assume the song's 3 minutes long).
There's only one song that I've listened to for over 10 months and I'm still not sick of it, but that's because it's one of the best Drum N Bass songs I'd ever listened to.

I never understood how people can listen to a song on loop extensively. citricsquid does this shit and it annoys me. GIVE IT A BREAK. unless youre listening to that banana phone song there's no reason you need to hear it again after just listening to it. hmph.

I have a few songs I still listen to regularly that are years old. I get tired of them, but I always come back to my favs. I can probably listen to a new song 50 times or so before getting tired of it.
Some songs I do get tired of pretty fast. Others I can listen to hundreds of times without getting tired of it.

lol. I've been listening to only metal for 5 straight years. Still hasn't got old for me. In fact, I love it more than ever now.
