3.93 / 5.00 4,634 ViewsHow many times can you listen to a song you really like until you get tired of it? For me, i can listen to it for quite a few times, probably over 10 times. Not consecutively or non-stop i mean, like over time spaced out as long as you feel like.
I've never grown tired of a song
I've grown tired of punk rock for being all I heard from like 7th grade until 9th, but that's about it.
Pretend not to care about anything, but be bothered by everything.
You may be fast on the roads but it's no use on the track.

Depends on how well made the song is for the purpose of repeated hearing.
Instrumental songs are the best for longevity.

I used to listen to songs on repeat
When I was a dumb little kid.
When you listen to the same fucking song over and over again, you spoil it and get suck of it. I listen to albums in moderation. Appreciate that shit.
This is my signature. It is a nice signature.

You act like music preference makes you superior or something
It's impossible to get sick of ambient or chill, you can't even tell when it loops

(Real) musicians make albums, not singles. You can listen to individual songs all you want, but that's not what the musician intended.

depends on how good the song is i guess. if i like the song i could probly listen to it like 20 times, but if i REALLY fucking love the song (2112 - Rush is my favourite), then i may never get tired of it
Unlimited times, I can listen to a single song on loop all day if I enjoy it enough.

Singles can be just as good as albums if not better. There are still shitty albums and great singles out there.

don't worry
he'll get tired of his poised musical "elitism" soon

I don't really care what the musician intended
A new song that's good I will listen to any time of day. Eventually I'll only be able to listen to it in certain moods. That is as close as being tired of it as I ever get.
At the moment I can listen to this perfect song all the time and I reckon I always will actually.

And I don't care for your opinion. I listen to albums because I don't have a small attention span. I want to listen to everything the musician does.

Then you're not getting the full experience and you're not enjoying music as much as you can and you're a filthy pleb.

Then why even listen to music? Music is a connection from the player to the recipient. The only music good for you is this where he likewise doesn't care.

Wasn't an opinion to begin with, I just said you were acting like listening to albums made you a better person and a bigger fan of a given person's music
I listen to albums because I don't have a small attention span.
Sometimes I listen to albums, sometimes I don't. It has nothing to do with attention, I just hate classifying an artist's music by albums, because most albums have songs that I don't like.
I want to listen to everything the musician does.
As I just said, every album/ artist has some music that I don't like.

For not caring if the artist intended for a song to be listened along with 8 other songs or not?
Yeah, sure, ok.

Not only that, but that as well.
Why do you even bother listening to music if you don't care about what the artist intended?

To please my sense of hearing, to stimulate emotions, and to conjure up fantasies that go along with the music.
Music is a connection from the player to the recipient.
Not really

I listen to "joke" music like that all the time. Doesn't mean I only like that kind of stuff, doesn't mean I don't like serious music.

Fact. You want to listen to them because you like them. That makes you a fan.

Are you a fan of the artist of the music
Because I just like the music. I don't care how "selfish" it sounds, but I don't really care about the artist.
I just hate classifying an artist's music by albums,... facepalm.png
Yeah, it's stupid, and you're just making me dislike classifying songs by albums even more
Just listen to the music man
because most albums have songs that I don't like.Opinion.
I don't see what that has to do with the rest of what I said
