I hate to sound gay but that emotional pain was worse than any physical pain I've ever felt.

I'm sorry, I truly am, but I giggled a little when you said "I hate to sound gay"
Again, really sorry about that
It was about a girl.

How did it all go down?
I'll love you forever
Cool people have lots of text here, but I couldn't come up with anything clever.
ScaryPicnic made me do it.
one time I had a piece of popcorn stuck in my throat for two whole minutes
Last summer, when my mom became deathly ill and we were evicted from our apartment.
Physically, got my index and ring fingers caught in a surface planer about 6 years ago, surgery felt like lit cigarettes were being put out on the tips of my fingers (see picture below of the machine)
Emotionally, wanted to attend Uni and do a jazz major about 3 years ago, didn't have the required theory knowledge so I applied for the contemporary music one in the hopes I could transfer over down the track once my theory was up to scratch. After sending through a DVD of 3 songs I had written, I got a phone call saying that I "had to sing" to be eligible for the course (it was a requirement for ALL guitar playing applicants), obviously my weapon of choice was a guitar, not a guitar accompanied by some fuckin vocal chords. It subsequently wasn't enough, got rejected, and cried for two days. Scarred forever from being pretty much told, "sorry, you're not good enough".
Its all worked out though, 3 years after being told I wasn't good enough to go to Uni, my band is opening for Nightwish tomorrow night. So here's to you Auckland University, SUCK MY DICK!!!
Physically the most painful would probably be when I shut the door on my foot, I ended up slicing the back of my foot right open and had like a flap, should probably have had stitches but was too scared to. That hurt like a motherfucker.
Emotionally is pretty standard, probably just the death of people close to me over the years. It's always a hard thing to go through.
When I caught whooping cough.
Whenever I laughed the slightest bit at anything, my windpipe would seize up almost entirely, with a lot of pain and sometimes vomiting. Being unable to breathe is a horrible thing.
It sound pretty lame but I'm sure it was something to do with my balls. I've injured myself a bit but I've never felt pain like I have in my balls. Bee stings suck.
either the time I slipped and scraped my entire chest and belly on a rocky floor
or kidney stones which fucking hurt like hell
kidney stone. oh my fucking god. I still don't think I've passed it, I have to go back to the doctor to see if it's gone....I literally was throwing up from the amount of pain I was in and had to go to the ER on christmas day, that really sucked

I heard a few stories about kidney stones. I dread that day when it happens

The multiple times throughout my life that my right arm ended up broken. Thank goodness that cyst is completely removed.
Thanks, Chdonga, for the awesome sig.

Pretty much the exact same story, for me. Kidney stones fucking suck.

Didn't they give you a strainer to piss into? That's what I had to do, although I never found the stone in there, so it must have been pretty small. Anyway, I knew I didn't have to worry about my kidney stone anymore once I started pissing normal again, as opposed to taking like 30 pisses per day, each only lasting about 5 seconds.

What was the most painful thing you have ever gone through in your life mental and/or physical?
I let soap dry on my skin once when I was a kid.
