Get a hobby. Cooking, painting, working out, whatever. Just learn to do something you enjoy and you can kill thousands of hours as you wait to die on something other then consuming media.

Yet you're sitting in that spot, eating non-stop.

If I'm bored is generally because I'm tired of doing the same stuff I've been doing to fight boredom. So the answer is do something fresh, or interesting.

You mentioned you've been spending your time working on making games? I'm assuming that means working in flash, part-time animating, part-time programming? Perhaps it could be interesting getting into making background music for your projects? Pick up a guitar and write a song. Get yourself a keyboard and some software and start making loops. Maybe you want to delve in art forms, and ways to make your game more visually appealing. Pick up a pencil and start drawing, emulate your favourite artists style. Maybe you want to make the gameplay and replay-value of your game better. Start finding games you like and analyze their gameplay, why it works, and how you can apply it to your own game.

You make your own happiness, and things are as fun as you make it. I'd suggest find a goal that keeps you occupied for a while, but not something so far away it becomes abstract. I find the goal "I will make a game" a bit to far away to reach, and personally I find smaller goals easier and much more rewarding to reach.

"I will discover good game mechanics and figure how to apply them to my game",
"I will define the personality of the character in my game",
"I will find a way to convey the mood of my game in the music I make"
All of the above can be interesting little projects to work on and I figure they can be fun ways to spend your time.

i honestly love seeing these kinds of replies! even though i'm no longer bored as fuck (was kinda just a bad day yesterday), i like replies like this cause it's like, even having to scroll through all the jokes and crap (like the two "kill yourself"s above yours) there's still some "sincere" looking posters. it's not like i get offended at all when people tell me to kill myself or mess with me, i mean its the fucking internet for christ sake! but still i think its always nice to see people being serious.

anyways, music and programming are my thing, so mayyyyyyyyybe i should give some art a try right? i dunno, i've done some pretty cool artistic stuff before, but to get any sort of quality, it takes me so damn long D: anyway, thanks for at least looking like you care

I said suicide which is killing yourself first. So you seem confused by thinking I seem confused.

If you have a mobile phone, preferably one like an iPhone, then watch Youtube on it, this is assuming you have Wi-Fi connection and a mobile, but I'm pretty sure you have a mobile phone.

P.S: I'm bored too.

The cure for boredom is finding something you enjoy and then keep doing it.
