4) Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers (Reasonable price and addicting gameplay)
3) Dead Rising Chop Till You Drop (Everything is a weapon in this survival horror)
2) Lollipop Chainsaw (A cheerleader is a zombie hunter in this zany action game)
1) Resident Evil (The best survival horror I have ever played)
Bonus : Indie Game-Tempura of the Dead
Resident evil code veronica and 6 were my favorites.
Mayeb lollipop chainsaw because its fun and zany, but i think thats all.
I'm not sure I could give you a top 5 but Zombies Ate My Neighbours! is a pretty good game. I like the art style and it's just a nice game to play. I'm not too good at it though. I get stuck on the maze level which has the chainsaw wielding enemies.
I rather like Resident Evil as well (referring to the GameCube remake of the original) but I've yet to finish it. I can't say I'm a fan of the combat but I like exploring the mansion and there is a definitely feeling of struggle to survive. It works well.

House of the Dead Overkill has nothing on Typing of the Dead.

Fallout 3 (I'm counting it cuz they're all over the place)
Left 4 Dead 2
House of the Dead 2
House of the Dead 3
House of the Dead: Overkill
that Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare DLC was actually pretty good.
Even though I haven't played it myself I'm surprised nobody said The Walking Dead.
Any way I can't make a full top 5 sombie games list of my because I can't think of that many zombie games that actually are (sorry they kind of suck). But I do like Dead Rising since it really allows to indulge yourself.

The entire franchise itself is so amazing with pulling off emotion, I find myself feeling sad when characters die in the comic and show, in some situations I have actually shed tears, but Telltale did it better 10 times over, I had to wash my face because it was so dry after I completed The Walking Dead game, I am just scared that Activision will screw up the FPS, Merle-Daryl game.
Overkill's got nothing on HotD 2. Chop till you drop absolutely sucks in comparison to both Dead Rising games, it's just a cut down port of DR1 without any of the fun modes. 0/10 list, would not agree with.
I can't make a full list, but Resident Evil, Killing Floor and HotD 2 would be in mine. Left 4 Dead and Dead Rising are bearable.

I like 'em both. I used to play the second one on my friend's Dreamcast back in the day. You gotta love the voice acting.

Yes yes yes shoutout to Zombies Ate My Neighbours. Amazing game really, so hard and really quite hard and even scary. I actually sat and walked a speed playthrough on youtube not too long ago for that. Was more fun than it had the right to be.
Otherwise my favourite zombie games are always Resident Evil games. 1, 2 and 3 taking those spots.
A lot of mention with the Resident Evil series, especially with the first games. They are pretty neat, I'll agree on that; my favorite is the second game.

Yeah, I would have to go with this one too. It's pretty entertaining when you have a bunch of buddies hanging around. Help is hard to come by these days.
I can't make a top 5. I can't name 5 games so I'm just naming some of my favorite zombie games.
Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare ( Take imo the best Western game ever and add zombies and what do you have? The best western zombie game.)
Left 4 Dead ( The co-op makes this game. I haven't played 2 so I can't say.)
Dead Rising (Taking pictures in the original and just how easy it is to sink in to that game and not want to put it down.)
Dead Island ( The beautiful tropical setting and variety of missions is just great for wasting hours upon hours.)
5) Dead Rising
4) Dead Rising 2
3) Left 4 Dead 2
2) RDR: Undead Nightmare
1) ...War Z
Xbox live: C0n Queso
PSN: A-Spiky-Kitten
Steam: Baby Diesel
I'm not sure what I'd say for the top five but the top one for me is Resident Evil 2.
