Theory Behind Contest
There are those who are born to be heroes. There are men and women who share the unshakeable faith and determination to conquer the highest achievements that the world has to offer -- goals that only titans may reach. These individuals are set apart from the monotonous and useless amateurs who call themselves "normal people" or "average." They are the heroes of noble honors, kings of our age, and rulers of their own destiny; not defined by the world they live in, but defined by their will to become who they were born to be.

Genre and Setting
I want you to envision yourself on top of the highest point of achievement. You have reached the world's limit, and exceeded all expectations. Your dreams of splendor have become a reality, and you are a legend amongst all. The leaders of the world have called a mass gathering, all in one accord, to hear your speech that will leave an everlasting impact on the past, present, and future of human history. You step up, speech in hand, as the entire Earth stand in awe and open ears as your prepare to speak, and then...

Requirements to Participate
You do not need to know how to write music, nor do you need to know how to read music. All I want from you is to produce an original song that dictates the GREATEST SONG YOU HAVE EVER PRODUCED. I will coordinate this contest myself, and will judge the music based on emotional and quality performance. If you believe that you are capable of defeating all the other self-proclaimed 'Legends,' then you are the right person to join this contest!

Just be sure you understand the following...
1) The Audio Forum Rules

2) You may submit any genre of music. I prefer that you submit a song in the musical category you are most comfortable with. Any type of music will be accepted.

3) Vocals are allowed. Even voice acting submissions.

4) Copies of other works, whether copyrighted or not, are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. You shall not steal.

5) You may PM my representative if you have any questions or concerns relating to this contest.

6) You may PM me if you have any questions or concerns relating to contest rewards. If you are a mod, then please contact me instead of Samulis.

Some Thoughts Before Proceeding
Preparing a song that is the best you have to offer is a daunting task. Be sure you pay close attention to every distinct detail of your submission. I would also suggest you get others to listen and see what their opinions are before you submit your work to this contest.

If you need help with your music, whether it be technical or compositional support, you can contact some of the audio artists on this site. I'm sure they will be more than happy to help you.

I will not reject any submission unless it violates the BBS rules, or copyright laws. So, you can choose to submit whatever you want. Producing music that utilizes the best software that the music industry has to offer is essential to succeeding in your career as a musician. I will try my best to get you motivated so you will submit the best song that your heart and mind can design.

You must create your theme song.

Since this is quite a massive project, I have decided to give you all a generous deadline. Please have your submission turned in by FEBRUARY 4TH 0:00

FIRST PLACE: A secret prize and hopefully a spot on the front page

SECOND PLACE: $20 and hopefully a spot on the front page

THIRD PLACE: $10 and hopefully a spot on the front page

Judgement Specifications
I will be judging each submission that is submitted to this contest, and each submission will be placed on a 'top song list.' The three best submissions will receive their just rewards, and all other submissions will be honorably mentioned. The results of the judging will be posted on February 5th.

Your submission must be completely original and specifically designed for this contest. Trust me, the time spent is well worth it, and submitting a song that you made last week will not benefit your cause whatsoever.

You may submit a song with any type of length you want. I doubt there will be many 36 minute long tracks, but I would prefer that everyone submits something that is longer than 1:00 minute.

I've been working full time on my entry since you announced the contest... can't wait to finish and publish this.

Damn, with all these incredible composers taking up such big projects already, I may as well not even bother attempting to enter with something.

Can't wait to see what everyone cooks up. I predict one hell of an interesting contest.
