I submitted the first piece that I was ever proud of. It's a reflection of not only my current life, but a life that I'm trying to create. It's a multi-movement (Rondo (ABCA'DA''), Sonata, Free-form) piece that spans 20 minutes and even unusual scale types (Hungarian/Egyptian scale in the last movement). Took a lot of effort and research, but I love it to death!

Decided to scrap the idea I've had up to this point in a fit of rage and am now starting anew, four days from the deadline, with the three last days being used for work.

I did the same thing, then I "finished" my submission in about 6 hours.... as I do with most of my music.

I say "finished" in quotes because I may or may not add a few things before the deadline... we shall see... although I'm quite fond of it as is.

I was thinking about this too, but Quest for the crown was strictly orchestral music so it was based on those factors... Bosa didn't really specify genre so they might be different :3

Very good pieces submitted thus far ladies and gents! I've been trying to listen to all the pieces I can. Competition aside, a lot of quality stuff has been produced that I find myself listening to a lot.

Hard at work on my song right now, there isn't a chance in hell I'll be able to complete it in time, but at the very least I'll post what I've made up to the point I'll be at when the deadline comes.

Handed in my song yesterday. Made a better version today... I hate it when that happens. Shows work is never done.
