Animator for film company logo

Hi all,

I used to love this site when I was younger - I'd trawl the games/videos for hours. I know it's full of fantastic artists so I've come back wondering whether anyone would be able to help me!

I'm Danny Carter and I'm a student in the UK (at York). I've put together a team and we've started a film production company. We have a few films to our name already, which have done quite well at some competitions (you can find out more at www.pigeonholefilms.com and view them at www.pigeonholefilms.com/films)

Now, It'd be ideal if someone was willing to take on the task of creating me a 5-8 second animated version of our company logo to play in front of our films (like all the other companies do). It'd be cool if it could look quite handdrawn - I like that effect where everything sort of jitters between each frame, and if the pigeons could move within their boxes, peck the ground, perhaps one looks into another ones box? Even better would be if one of the boxes could start empty, and a pigeon flies into it from behind and settles itself. Of course, we'd bring it to life with sound design. Our films are generally a 2:39:1 aspect ratio and I've attached an example frame of how big the logo would ideally look.

Let me know if you're interested, I can send across some higher res versions of the logo to use as a reference. We can pay you for your time depending on how much you think it's worth, but we wouldn't be able to stretch ourselves too much because we're just a group of students trying to get our feet in the door. One thing we can definitely do is credit you and make sure you're name is recommended/spread everywhere we have access to.
