i remember the temperature here once reached 37 degrees celsius (either late july or early august). that was because of the subsidence (downward airflow) in the outer circulation of a tropical storm (later intensiftied to a category four hurricane)

it was not a big problem for me. i stayed indoors most of the time with air conditioning and the hot weather did not last long (a couple of days later the temperature dropped and it started to rain). the rain helped to bring down the temperature even further.

usually, i drink more water in summer, especially if i have to stay outside for some time. since i am living near the ocean, the climate is moderate and i seldom experience extreme heat for more than one day in a row. so it is fine.
