Over 40°. I went to meet up with friends and either they didn't show or I came at the wrong time. It ended up ok, I found a cool little DVD place and picked up Inception, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Dirty Harry for $20 total and got some nice bread with stuff in it but holy fuck was it and still is very hot. I bought three bottles of water and had been drenched with sweat the whole time.

When's the last time you personally found the weather boiling and how do you deal with it? When it's cold you just rug up and come home to a hot heater but if you're outside in the heat with a tshirt and shorts there's not much else you can do.

Its the same right now in Adelaide. I've just spent all day inside my house with the coolers and fans on. I can handle the heat pretty well outside but not so much the cold. I shake a lot when its cold.

I've been off NewGrounds for a while. Only got back on about a month ago. Yeah, it's not that bad. I think my attitude mainly stems from having to walk for three hours in this heat. As soon as I stepped foot outside I could I was meet with a big gust of hot wind and thought I knew what to expect but it was much worse. But it only really happens for a few weeks each year and everyone down here notices the change. Point me to the Australian thread. I know there's an Australian club but it's pretty in-active.

I believe the hottest it's been in my area that I can remember is 105 degrees F, in the summertime. I love hot weather. Right now, It's about 10 degrees F out right now, fuck winter.

i remember the temperature here once reached 37 degrees celsius (either late july or early august). that was because of the subsidence (downward airflow) in the outer circulation of a tropical storm (later intensiftied to a category four hurricane)

it was not a big problem for me. i stayed indoors most of the time with air conditioning and the hot weather did not last long (a couple of days later the temperature dropped and it started to rain). the rain helped to bring down the temperature even further.

usually, i drink more water in summer, especially if i have to stay outside for some time. since i am living near the ocean, the climate is moderate and i seldom experience extreme heat for more than one day in a row. so it is fine.
