Damn, Wade..I remember seeing those old tape drives too. XD

I had some commodores. The 128 was kinda neat, it had the built in sprite maker in it. Once alot of schools and libraries switched out from the commodores and monochrome terminals that used the text browsers, ya could usually just walk out with one from the storage closet and let them know ya were stealing it..they more than likely wouldn't have cared.

Something interesting or at least I find interesting, is the amount of gold in some of the older computers. So ya could dissolve a nice amount of gold in some aqua regia, from escrap over time..which back then, I don't believe was worth as much as it is now..or maybe the dollar just isn't worth as much now, I dunno.*

Thanks to Green-Chicken for the sig graphics, ur awesome.

Some of the old Windows '98 computers I used at school in 2nd grade. We all adored playing Number Munchers and SimCity on that shit...good times, good times.

I have no idea but it had sim city and ski free on it. and some medieval fantasy rpg whose name I could never remember. It was only used to play these games because it had very little memory and couldnt connect to the internet.

I have used both an Apple II, and a Commodore 64 before. I don't remember their ages though.

Here it is running Internet Explorer 2.0. AKA before Microsoft decided to go bloatware. ... Also, strangely its the only browser I could get to run on Windows 3.11 on DOSBox.

An abacus that was made in 1907.

If you mean an electronic one, a while back I was helping a neighbor clean out their attic and found an Apple II. I got it working again and played around on it for a while. It was a pretty rad experience, but we ended up recycling it instead of keeping/selling it. I regret that so much now, because once I'd made sure it had all its parts, it was actually in really good working condition. Sadly at the time I didn't know just how classic a device it was. Maybe I'll find another one someday
