A 3-4 foot tall tower from the mid 80s that ran MS-DOS. It had 64 MB of memory if I remember correctly, maybe even less. Still have it too, used it until the late 90s. And with that we had a VGA monitor the size of an old TV that only supported 256 colors, and an extremely loud and slow printer that made double perforated edges (fuck yeah)

Oldest computer I've used was my pairent's Tandy back in, like, 1997 or 1998. Not sure the exact model, though. I remember playing some interactive Fern Gully game on it.

The first computer I ever used was my dad's when I was a toddler. He had me playing some games on it like Cliffy, and I think either Defender or something very similar. I dunno what brand, year, or OS, though, but it would have been before Windows 95.

The first one I've ever used was probably an old Compaq from 1998 (Windows 98) or so. I used it until 2003.
In 2001, I remember using an iMac G3 at my school. Now that was hilarious.
In 2003, I moved to a new school where they had one really old Apple computer, not sure which model, though.
The rest were all old Dells (good ole black CRT monitors).
Twas tight.

The oldest computer I ever used was probably one that I used for years when I first got one in 2000. I don't even remember what it was called. All I remember was that one day a puff of smoke arose from it and it never worked again. I was amazed at how slow everything was on that computer, especially the games. It was funny, because some games actually worked better when they WERE slower.

Some Windows 2000 box that my parents owned.

I would LOVE to have a few old DOS computers. There's guys that sell DOS gaming rigs that are already set up and everything but I can't afford to pay $100 for something frivolous right now.

Damn, Wade..I remember seeing those old tape drives too. XD

I had some commodores. The 128 was kinda neat, it had the built in sprite maker in it. Once alot of schools and libraries switched out from the commodores and monochrome terminals that used the text browsers, ya could usually just walk out with one from the storage closet and let them know ya were stealing it..they more than likely wouldn't have cared.

Something interesting or at least I find interesting, is the amount of gold in some of the older computers. So ya could dissolve a nice amount of gold in some aqua regia, from escrap over time..which back then, I don't believe was worth as much as it is now..or maybe the dollar just isn't worth as much now, I dunno.*

There was an old IBM computer in my basement that I used to play games on via floppy disks. The thing actually had a switch that you had to flip to turn it on, and it operated by a series of manually inputted commands.

I have no idea but it had sim city and ski free on it. and some medieval fantasy rpg whose name I could never remember. It was only used to play these games because it had very little memory and couldnt connect to the internet.

I have used both an Apple II, and a Commodore 64 before. I don't remember their ages though.
