What are your favorite adrenaline-rushing, heart-pounding, overly-exciting soundtracks from movies?! They can be slow, beautiful songs too. You know, the kind of music that you hear in your head after leaving the theater, and you're afraid to get in the car because all the excitement is distracting you!

By far my favorite song from a movie is Gotham's Reckoning by Hans Zimmer. I won't ruin the film for anyone that hasn't seen it (shame on you), but when I heard this I felt like I was going to die from all the tension. It's not really the best song on its own ... its just my favorite because it fit so perfectly with what was happening.

The Inception OST and Pirates of the Caribbean come close. Maybe Narnia and Star Wars as well.

I'm a big fan of Hans Zimmer in general, but his music from inception is probably my favorite.

Why So Serious is superior

Oh yeah that one was brilliant. I love how he used the sounds sort of like nails on chalkboard.

Lol I have that soundtrack on my iPod for driving at night through the city.

I'm a massive fan of all the Dark Knight soundtracks, the Inception soundtrack and Prometheus plus the original Alien score and Lord of the Rings.

I'm not a real big fan of Hans Zimmer's music in the Batman movies, but I did like a lot of the music in TDKR. I think it's the best score of the three movies.

I like this music from the final battle in Gremlins.

"Bishop's Countdown" from the Aliens score is some of the most pulse pounding music I've ever heard in a movie.

I seriously think the opening theme from Mask of the Phantasm may be the most epic Batman music ever.

That music was a perfect fit for Sherlock Holmes!

The Toy Soldiers one is amazing I feel like I've seen the film because it sounds familiar. The Batman one sounds like it was written by John Williams just because of all the choirs. Pretty epic but doesn't make me think of Batman (Zimmer's fault lol).

This is pretty cool.

It's a kind of weaving together of the Batman music of Danny Elfman, Shirley Walker, and Hans Zimmer.

Cloud Atlas Opening Title
Death Is Only A Door

The soundtrack from Cloud Atlas really got to me in all directions. Epic, mysterious, sad, and quirky. I think it's no wonder it got nominated for a golden globe.

Yeah, I can't listen to that at this hour with the lights off LOL

Same goes for the SAW theme, but only because I saw the movies and I get squeamish. I almost wish SAW was a thriller because the soundtrack was so awesome!
