When I was younger I got Nintendo Power, and it was a large part of my childhood. Occasionally I also would read stuff like Popular Mechanics and Popular Science if they had it around. Once or twice I read a Mens Health magazine, and I did buy a PC magazine.

Wired is the only one I consistently read nowadays. If I'm at a public library in their magazine room, I'll usually read through a few LGBT ones and MAD (if they have it).
And yes, your local library usually has a ton* of magazines you can read for free.
