Now that the old era is gone, and the new era has been born, what are you expectations for the future?

Is there going to be world peace? A world government movement? Are we going to contact aliens? Are we going to come up with a new currency?

Let the Newgrounds community know what you foresee in the future!

I don't see anything cool happening in the near future. Probably some more disasters and shootings though.. =/

As for Newgrounds future, hopefully they can bring in more people so that it's not the same 50 users everyday.

I don't see anything big happening in the world's future, but I see myself getting a pilot's license in a year or two. I've always liked flying.

I see at least 3 more school shootings in the U.S. this year, North Korea threatening South Korea with nuclear warheads again, countless useless threads in the BBS, and 4 celebrities dying (one from an overdose, two from accidents, and the last being shot by a fan).

These seem very possible :p. When's the last time a celebrity was stabbed by a fan though? This one might not happen.

Newgrounds will turn into a cesspool of memespouters and ironic shitposters.
Reddit will consume the internet as a whole. CNN news articles will redirect readers to subreddits for more information on topics.
The Social Justice army of Tumblr will get their way. We'll have to walk on eggshells to avoid offending tiny percentages.
Trolling will be on par with physical abuse.
Deviantart will sponge up more artists with strange fetishes and no artistic talent.
To avoid FBI bots ruining everything, every file sharing site will become invite only or pay2download. Even piracy sites will begin to require fees for their service.
I'm calling it now. The internet will slowly and depressingly become an unenertaining mess before this year is over.

On a personal level. I see a new era of prosperity in creative pursuits and quite a leisurely life I hope.

On a broader level. Currency will fail. Other than that, same old shit!

In the 2070's the Electron Pump will be invented.

Allowing us to trade common tungsten with plutonium 186 from a parallel universe, plutonium 186, a compound that can't exist within the laws of our universe, but exists in the other parallel universe.

We can use the plutonium 186 as a cheap, clean, and endless source of energy. Coal, gas, and everything is no longer needed.
